via Facebook... I have this rather solid metal gate that is used to keep certain pirates out of the kitchen. Sadly wear and tear has weakened the hinges and today...today it gave up the ghost and crashed down on my bare toe. Ice is happening now. Crap I keep forgetting how much it hurts to drop heavy things on my toes. And why do I have bare toes? Isn't someone supposed to stop me? WHERE IS THE ADULT! Obviously I am not capable of adulting not my own. Ow.
